My Journey With Mahiwaga Bakery Began Long Before I Ever Imagined Owning.
When I took over Simply Desserts in 2023, I poured my heart into making wedding and custom cakes. Being part of your birthdays, weddings, and special celebrations meant so much to me, and I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who trusted me with those moments.
But along the way, something else started growing in my kitchen — my love for baking Filipino breads and desserts. The smell of fresh pandesal, the comfort of the flavors I grew up with, and the joy of sharing them with the community started to feel like home.
So with that, I’m starting a new chapter… and a new name to go with it.
I’m so excited to introduce Mahiwaga Bakery. “Mahiwaga” means mysterious or whimsical — something a little magical — and it felt like the perfect name for this new season.
